Had a pre-purchase inspection done for a truck we thought we might buy, based on the inspection report we were still considering it and drove over an hour to see it in person. However upon seeing the truck ourselves we found many big issues that weren’t even mentioned on the report. My gas gauge light stated that my fuel level was really low. I knew this was not the case because I had just filled my tank. I called Linwood to ask for an appointment. They told me I could come in around 3:00 pm that day. I arrived on time. They had to work me in. I was out of there around 4:30. There was no charge for fixing this because my Buick is still under warranty.

Mr. Legens, we are sorry you had a less than stellar experience with Linwood of Mayfield on the service of your 2023 Tahoe. While we are sorry you feel this way, we would like to clarify some points you made in your comments. When you were initially given the bill, there was a charge of $654 which once pointed out, we corrected. It was an error from our parts department and on their behalf, we apologized and fixed it. Your corrected cost of $250 was because of your $200 deductible and taxes which warranty companies do not pay. We have no control over the deductible much the same as if this was a deductible from your car insurance company. It is your part of the responsibility of the total labor and parts coverage. Your warranty company did cover approximately $1750 of the total repair. As for the recall, yes you do have a recall on your 6.2L engine which could not be performed while the vehicle was here due to our tool having an issue. Because the test is to determine the viability of the engine, we must insure the tool is working properly before we perform any tests. We have obtained the part needed and can schedule you for the test. Please contact us at 270-247-4111 Again, we are sorry you were disappointed with the coverage from your warranty company. You may contact them directly through the number on the warranty papers given to you when you purchased the vehicle. We wish you many miles of fun and safe driving in your Tahoe.

I had to return to the dealership multiple times because something I had requested was either not completed properly or not completed at all. They also tried charging me twice for something they had only completed once. I had to call back multiple times while they were working on my vehicle to ensure I would be able to pick up my vehicle before they closed. On one instance, the service department had already closed and they did not call me back to come pick it up so I had to contact the sales dept and luckily they could get me my keys after hours. I still do not have faith that everything was completed properly and to the best of their ability. I will not be using this dealership again for any servicing.

Mr. Galloway, normally we just extend an apology for any experience you felt negative about from our dealership; however, we appreciate the fact that you will not be back. To not air all the issues you served us with, let's just concede the fact that you dropped your vehicle with no appointment and then proceeded to contact us on a daily basis insisting we move your truck ahead of loyal customers that had their vehicles in here under an appointment and days, sometimes weeks before yours. We followed all the protocol provided by General Motors and you were still not happy. When we refused to move you up, you berated our manager almost daily; therefore the derogatory language and throwing items at the people in our service department to the point that we almost had to contact the local police necessitates the need for us to no longer service your vehicle. We do wish you well and hope you find a dealership more suited to your personality.
